Day 1: At Home with Nature

Picture 296’s definitions of  home include “any place of residence or refuge” and “the dwelling place and retreat of an animal”.

For me, home is where you are nurtured. Take for instance the photographed carabao above. The carabao is at home with nature because it is nourished there. It knows it is safe with the protective shade of the trees, the warm breeze and organic food.

There is a certain comfort and peace that embraces us whenever we’re home. When we’re surrounded by family and friends or at a beloved place or even alone with the Creator, we can say we are home.

Home is what we value. Home is where we belong. Home is who we love.
