Of Sunrise and God’s Holiness

While riding the train last Monday, I was able to catch the sunrise. I was seated across the side where it was rising. The sun was too bright that I had to cover and even close my eyes at times because of its seemingly blinding brightness. That time, I remembered the preaching last Sunday about God’s holiness. Just like staring at the sun, God’s holiness, even only a glimpse of it, is too much for us to bear.

Beautiful sunrise captured at MRT Guadalupe. "Because Your mercies are new every morning, great is Thy faithfulness."
Beautiful sunrise captured at MRT Guadalupe. Lovely treat before riding the train! 😀  (But this was captured on a different date! hehe. :P) “Because Your mercies are new every morning, great is Thy faithfulness.”
